Corporate Charters Wyvenhoe is available for corporate events, dinner parties, meetings, presentations and team events. Subject to her other commitments, these can be at St Katharine's Dock or Excel or Limehouse Basin, or West India Dock in London,or at Maldon Quay, or Ipswich Dock or North Fambridge. We can arrange catering for these events at extra cost. If the location is not at Maldon there may be an additional charge for moving the vessel and there will be an additional cost of mooring fees. Please email or telephone to discuss your requirements. For parties of up to 12 people, an event alongside can also be combined with a trip under sail or power, if required. A charter for a day, weekend or longer is ideal for combining management training and team building with the sailing experience. The saloon can be largely cleared of furniture giving a big space for presentations or exhibitions. DISABLED ACCESS: We are sorry but we do not have facilities for wheel chair access and Wyvenhoe has not been modified for disabled sailors. This is because she is a faithfully restored classic sailing ship. However we are happy to discuss taking people with disabilities sailing on Wyvenhoe and also arranging access on board for disabled guests for static events too. However we have to take into account the inevitable hazards that exist on a sailing vessel and the need to access along a pontoon and/or ladders at some locations and that access to the accommodation means negotiating a staircase, steps and narrow doors and that we do not have disable toilet facilities due to the structure and design of the vessel. We will do all that we reasonably can to assist anyone with disabilities who wishes to be a guest on Wyvenhoe. |
